Unique stats show how Ruben Loftus-Cheek is using his skills in Europe

Ruben Loftus-Cheek was called into action earlier than expected on Tuesday against Juventus after N’Golo Kante’s injury.

As we’ve come to expect, the midfielder was imperious after being brought on. His passing is solid, but it’s his ability to move with the ball out of defence that really gives the team something unique.

The stats from his European performances show that he’s judicious in when he decides to move the ball too. Not only is he among the players with the most dribbles, he also has the highest success rate.

You can see his impressive numbers in the post from TalkChelsea embedded here:

Of course, his most significant dribble on Tuesday was the assist for Callum Hudson-Odoi’s goal, Chelsea’s third. RLC mazed his way between Juventus defenders static in the box, before putting it on a plate for his fellow academy graduate to put away.

More of this please, Ruben!
