Thomas Tuchel has just given his press conference ahead of the Manchester United this weekend, and it was pretty bad news all round.
Ben Chilwell’s ACL injury has been confirmed, and Mateo Kovacic is still not ready to return yet.
Not only that but N’Golo Kante’s issue which lead to him being taken off against Juventus on Tuesday night will likely keep him out of Sunday’s game too, with next week the likely return date.

Romelu Lukaku is fit at least, and while Tuchel was reluctant to say he would start, he admitted it was a possibility.
Timo Werner, after a couple of substitute appearances, is fit to start, although it remains to be seen whether he will actually be in Thomas Tuchel’s starting XI after the team has performed so well without him.
Given Manchester United’s current turmoil, we should be able to beat them even with all these absences.
