Thomas Tuchel’s insane stats after 50 games at Chelsea

Thomas Tuchel arrived at Chelsea at the end of January this year, and almost immediately turned the club into a winning machine.

Last night was his 50th game in charge, and perhaps the best we’ve seen yet.

Juventus came to Stamford Bridge and were utterly dismembered by Tuchel’s high energy team, crushed 4-0 in their biggest every Champions League defeat.

Of those 50 games we’ve lost just 7, and conceded a ridiculously low 24 goals. That’s 31 clean sheets from 50 games.

In the first months of Tuchel’s rein it was tough to get the attack functioning as well as the defence, but this season we’ve seen a major new striker added, and more goals scored throughout the team.

Above all, what has been really notable is the work rate of this side. Already 3-0 up and cruising to a win, they were still running like madmen, and forced a fourth goal in the 93rd minute.

Keep this up and there is a slew of trophies to come.
