Chelsea were announced as the Club of the Year at the Ballon d’Or awards ceremony last night, and it was the first time that these individual awards had a Club award.
Usually these awards are all about the individuals, and we all remember what our manager thinks of individual awards, not too much..
Tuchel on winning PL manager of the month for March: "I don't believe in individual awards so I am representing my staff, and the people at Cobham. But I am grateful to receive this award as I am in the right club with the right team." #CFC

So you can imagine, his interest in last nights awards was probably very little. However, he was pleased with Chelsea’s Club award, because it’s ‘for the club’ and that is a ‘nice trophy’ to receive he says, as reported by Chelsea news account Absolute Chelsea here..
Thomas Tuchel:
"It means that it's a nice trophy as it's for the club. We have a very successful Women's team, Academy and our team. we had a lot of players nominated, we try to continue."

Tuchel has led the club into a fantastic season but this is an overall group award and as the boss emphasises above, this is for the Men’s team, Women’s team, and the academy success right from grass roots level to the top.
For Chelsea fans, it’s great gloating material, we are officially the best Club in the world, it’s a fact!
