Chelsea’s game against Leicester today wasn’t just a test of their footballing ability, it was also a big physical challenge.
After a busy summer and a hectic start to the season, the squad has been stretched thin by injuries, and playing the Saturday early kick-off after an international break full of decisive, competitive games was a real test.
Jorginho was one of the players playing for his country over the last fortnight, and when he went down holding his hamstring towards the end of the game today we feared the worst.
Tuchel says that it is just cramp/fatigue for Jorginho so really good news there. #CFC #LEICHE https://t.co/EPHqcd4dKd

Luckily, Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that it was just a cramp.
All in all, that means that Chelsea’s team escaped a harsh test without any injuries, and in fact had the chance to give returning players like Christian Pulisic some minutes.
With Timo Werner back on the bench and Romelu Lukaku in training, important reinforcements are on the way.
