CIES often publish some interesting stats, and this time Chelsea feature heavily.
It’s a ranking of the best players in Europe’s top 5 leagues according to their own performance metric, which measures all kinds of statistics to figure out who is doing the best.
Chelsea have Jorginho, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Thiago Silva both in the top 10, but most notably in first place, as Europe’s most in form player after 1/3 of the season, we have Conor Gallagher, the Chelsea man on loan at Crystal Palace.
We all knew he was doing well, but this puts into perspective just how well.
