‘Few concessions from both sides’ – More details come out on Andreas Christensen’s Chelsea contract

Chelsea centre back Andreas Christensen has not really been picked by Thomas Tuchel in recent matches, with Trevoh Chalobah the preferred choice in his position.

Thiago Silva’s world class form and condition has also played a big part in Christensen’s lack of minutes, but you do wonder whether this will/is having any effect on his contract talks with Chelsea.

The two parties have appeared to be at a bit of a stalemate for some time now since major outlets started to claim his new Chelsea deal was all but done.

But things changed and now the two still have a lot of sorting out to do if they are to come to a conclusion, according to Matt Law of The Telegraph, who has been speaking on the London is Blue Podcast this week.

He claims there are a ‘few concessions from both sides’ that still need agreeing on, but he also states he still expects this deal to get done.
