Jody Morris has given a really long and interesting interview with Henry Winter in the Times today, where he talks through a variety of topics to do with his time at Chelsea, both as a player and a coach.
Coming through the academy as a player, and then managing in the youth teams, then the development squad, Morris was Frank Lampard’s assistant at senior level.
He’s now looking for managerial jobs or further assistant work at top teams, and he admitted that it would of course one day like to manage Chelsea, who he referred to as “my club.”
Jody Morris on managing #Chelsea one day:
"The dream has always been Chelsea for me. Listen, I’d love to one day. Chelsea are my club."

He will have to climb a long ladder, but he showed great coaching promise at youth levels, and should be able to get a decent lower league job to get started with.
Thomas Tuchel isn’t going anywhere fast, and Morris will likely have to prove himself at Premier League level before he ever gets a chance.
