Spain have qualified for the World Cup next year with a win against Sweden in Seville.
Cesar Azpilicueta, the only Chelsea player involved, celebrated the victory with a post on his Twitter account. Luis Enrique trusted the full back with a start, and was rewarded with a clean sheet, as La Roja beat Sweden with a late goal from former Blue Alvaro Morata.

It shouldn’t be ignored that this is a solid effort. Qualification for major tournaments is often take as a given for the major nations, but it’s harder than ever in Europe, and we’ve see plenty of other teams – including Portugal – fall into the playoffs tonight.
It’s hard to see Azpi being in the Spanish first XI in a year’s time when the tournament kicks off, but it’s also hard to imagine him not being in the squad, given his versatility and character.
