Chelsea have five players nominated for the Ballon d’Or, but Thomas Tuchel couldn’t care less.
In his press conference today, he claimed that he didn’t know which of his team were up for the award, and pointed out that football was a team sport, and that he had in particular had a team that worked well together rather than being made up of individuals.
N’Golo Kante might have something to say about that.
He did say he hoped one of his players won the award, for the morale boost it would bring the team.
