(Video): Hated Chelsea keeper gets credit for anti-UEFA speech

Thibaut Courtois has not been a popular man at Chelsea ever since he forced a move to Real Madrid, but Blues fans can still respect a rival when he’s in the right.

Courtois spoke to the TV cameras after his Belgium team were beaten in the Nations League semi final this week, and he railed against the greedy UEFA forces which have lead to players squeezing 3 international games into this break.

Chelsea are lucky they haven’t picked up any major injuries this time around – but we’ve already seen Courtois’ Belgium teammate Romelu Lukaku become a doubt for this weekend thanks to a “muscle overload.”
