Edouard Mendy’s performance against Brighton has been hailed as the best by a Chelsea keeper for years.
The Senegal stopper was a rock throughout the hard fought win, and without him Thomas Tuchel’s team wouldn’t have stood a chance – a fact the Blues boss pointed out after the game.
HIs rushing out, his catching, his communication, and above all his reflex saves, were all point in this game.
If we go on to win the league this season, we will certainly look back on this game as a turning point.
