Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah has been the surprise story of the season so far at the club.
Most expected him to be departing on another loan or a permanent move this summer, but instead he stayed at the club and not only that, he has managed to actually nail down a fairly regular place in Thomas Tuchel’s line up at the back for The Blues.

It’s been great to see and he hasn’t looked out of place at all with his top class performances so far.
There has been one player that Chalobah says has helped him as a Chelsea player since the very start, and that is Antonio Rudiger.
Chalobah says that he is the one who has taken him under his wing this season and even before, and says that Rudiger used to give him advice and always believed in him.
Chalobah: There used to be times I used to talk to him & say what can I do to improve my game, I’m going out on loan so what is that I need to do & stuff like that. So he’s always believed in me…
