Scotland have just won a thriller in World Cup qualifying, beating Israel 3-2 with an injury time winner.
The Scots deserved the 3 points after a superb second half showing, and the man at the centre of it all was Chelsea boy Billy Gilmour.
He’s been at a bad Norwich team on loan this season, but seeing him in his element for his national team at a rocking Hampden Park was special.
Chelsea fans on social media, bored without a Blues game to watch this weekend, tuned in to see their wonderkid play, and he didn’t disappoint. For his age, he’s unbelievably mature, and he totally ran the game, especially in the second half.
Twitter lit up with praise for the midfielder, both from Blues fans and fans of the Tartan Army.
One Tweeter called him a “straight baller… facts”. We think that’s a good thing.

When Scotland needed it most Billy Gilmour stepped up in that second half and said, ‘I’m having this.’
