Thomas Tuchel had some tricky team selection questions tonight – he had some players who needed a rest, others who had just some rest who needed to come back in, and some who just need some minutes.
In the end he’s gone for a very strong team, and that’s bad news for Callum Hudson-Odoi. The winger has once again been overlooked, and fans aren’t delighted by that.
We know that Tuchel wants to get three points here, but if CHO can’t start in this game, after a bad run of attacking showings, when can he start?
On social media there was a typical uproar from fans who were hoping tonight was the night they’d see their winger get a chance to shine. His stans around the world aren’t happy, with one insisting that he “should leave Chelsea.”

Tuchel not messing around. Going w/ a very strong & experienced XI. Ideally you wouldn’t have to but we need to win this, and decisively, and finishing 1st in the group should be our aim.
