Olivier Giroud names one former Chelsea player and two current ones as most talented he has played with

The best judge of a football player and their quality would certainly be another football player who has played in the same team as said player for a sustained amount of time.

So when it comes to judging Chelsea and Arsenal players, Olivier Giroud is the man to listen to.

The former Blues striker is now of course playing for AC Milan in the Italian league, but he has not been short of a word or two about his former clubs in recent interviews over the last couple of weeks, his latest being with Tribal Football on Tuesday.

They wanted to know who the most talented players he has ever played with are, and decided to put that question to him.

Unsurprisingly Giroud names former Blue Eden Hazard as one of them, and then two current players, Mason Mount and Kai Havertz.

He also mentions a ‘Gooner’ as well, but never mind… !

He said:

“One of the best players I played with at Arsenal was Santi Cazorla. And at Chelsea, Eden Hazard, and there were so many young talented players at Chelsea as well.

“Mason [Mount] and Kai Havertz, different class, different quality, and I’m looking forward to seeing them grow up and become top players.”
