N’Golo Kante returned to Chelsea training today, after missing a few games with a mild injury, and then a coronavirus diagnosis.
It was a relief to see the France star not called up by his country for their Nations League finals, and he’s used this first week to simply rest and recover, along with most of the other players.
As of today’s he’s returned to working with the group, meaning he must have now tested negative and recovered from Covid.

While a serious virus is never a good thing, we’d rather it was a week out ill rather than a continuation of the niggling injuries that have troubled Kante for the last 4 seasons now.
If all goes well, he should be fit for our game next weekend, and in fact will be one of the most rested players in the squad when we take on Brentford, after a fortnight’s break.
Welcome Back N’golo, am Very Excited To Have U In Our Team. Wish You Success.
