The tackle on Romelu Lukaku that turned the striker’s ankle was a nasty one, and we didn’t have much hope of seeing him again before December, if we’re honest.
But the forward has posted a picture from the physio room that shows him getting that joint worked on, with a ticking clock emoji. It raises our hopes that the Belgian could be back sooner than expected.
That ankle is boot-free and not looking too swollen. Tomorrow’s EFL Cup game against Southampton isn’t happening, but could we be ready for a miraculous appearance this weekend?
