Declan Rice closer than ever to West Ham exit despite another great season

West Ham are having another great season, and Declan Rice is at the heart of it once again.

Last year they had their best campaign for years, and still weren’t able to qualify for the Champions League, and even if they repeat their impressive season this time around, they will never catch the breakaway teams in the top 4.

That’s the sad reality for the Hammers, and their star player Rice.

That’s why he’s constantly linked with moves away, and the latest from The Athletic won’t help.

Roshane Thomas writes that “this is likely to be Declan Rice’s last season” in East London, with Chelsea and Manchester United pushing to sign him after long pursuits.

It will cost them dearly, considering he still has more than 3 years to run on his contract, but unless his team do something truly spectacular and make it to the top 4, it’s hard to see him staying at the London Stadium long term.

  1. Keep kidding yourselves. The Athletic !!!Good to know they know West Ham business !! Basically same story from them every week. Like yourselves obsessed with Rice. And West Ham wont get into the top four ? whoever that turns out to be . How much have Chelsea spent ? And how many points were West Ham behind you ? Oh and by the way the long pursuit rubbish you go on about ? West Ham said today not one enquiry whatsoever. Be nice to get facts !

  2. Completely journalist driven rubbish.
No bids and unless someone comes up with £120 million plus he stays..
And West Ham just may crash that top 4 in which case we’ll be taking Manure and Chelski’s best

  3. who’s chasing him? you guys? since when? keep talkin’ him up, though. the more you do, the more you pay why would he go to Manure after we finish above them this season? ‍♂️
