Christian Pulisic will be back in Chelsea training next week, and could be back playing within a few weeks, according to Adam Newson of Football.London.
Pulisic hasn’t featured for Chelsea since the game on the opening weekend, where he started and scored against Crystal Palace, playing 82 minutes before being taken off.
He’s since had Covid and then an ankle injury which has kept him out since, allowing other players to force their way into Thomas Tuchel’s plans.
Understand Christian Pulisic is, as things stand, expected back in training next week.
Hasn’t played since Chelsea’s opening game of the PL season, nor alongside Romelu Lukaku.
His skill set might prove quite useful for the Belgian striker.https://t.co/wCwmUD5QNp

A few poor performances recently have lead to hope that the USA international can add something to the attack when he returns. The idea that he could link up well with Romelu Lukaku is a popular one.
The team needs a spark at the moment, and the sooner Pulisic is back the better. The question is, if he continues to get injured this regularly, how long can we think of him as a player with a role to play long term?
