Burnley have been such a force in the Premier League for so long now that it’s hard to imagine them going down.
Every time they seem in danger, they grit their teeth and force some impressive wins against the weaker teams in the middle, and save themselves for another year.
They’ve got to get into gear soon this season though – we’re approaching the 1/4 mark of the season and they have just 3 points.
They must be looking ahead to January for a boost, and one player they’ve got in their sights is Ross Barkley.
The Sun report that Chelsea are willing to let him go on loan again, and that Burnley are willing to pay a big enough chunk of his wages to make it happen.
He’s never performed regularly for us, but there’s no doubting he would bring something new to their team, and might just provide the spark they need to get clear of the bottom 3 once again.
