Chelsea won 3-0 against Tottenham at the weekend, but at full time it was a defender getting a lot of the praise.
Thiago Silva gave a defensive masterclass, as well as scoring the opening goal for his team, and in his press conference today Thomas Tuchel was asked to explain the Brazilian’s quality.
Tuchel coached Silva at PSG too, so he’s more qualified than anyone to explain how good he is, and he didn’t hold back in praising both the character and the ability of his central defender.
