Chelsea weren’t dreadful against Zenit St Petersburg, but they weren’t much good either, and in the end they were pretty fortunate to come away with a win.
Thomas Tuchel was insistent on looking on the bright side after the game however, and he managed to find two parts of the Blues’ game that he enjoyed.
“I liked our effort, I liked our intensity,” the coach insisted, also noting that his team had won the ball back high up the pitch on several occasions which showed their desire and work rate.
