Thomas Tuchel got a few things wrong today, but he’s always brutally honest and open in his interviews, and that was no different today.
He went into some detail discussing his team’s defeat with the BT Sport team, and one key thing he picked up on was a lack of conviction in his team.
“I did not feel the belief” he admitted, in reference to his team’s half hearted attempts to break out of the intense City press.
We will learn from this and come back stronger, and Tuchel’s honesty will help in learning where we can improve.
