Thomas Tuchel confirms several key players will miss Juventus clash

Chelsea won their first Champions League group game despite a pretty poor performance against Zenit St Petersburg, and that result is looking increasingly important now.

The Blues face Juventus tomorrow night, and in Thomas Tuchel’s press conference just now he confirmed several key players will be out for the game.

N’Golo Kante has tested positive for coronavirus, and will be out until he tests negative.

Mason Mount’s issues from last week’s cup game against Aston Villa will continue to rule him out.

Reece James is also out after coming off hurt in the game against Manchester City at the weekend.

Finally, Christian Pulisic – who basically hasn’t featured all season – will also be out for this one.

All of this was confirmed by the Chelsea official website’s write up of the rather bleak press conference ahead of the game against Juve, who are resurgent in the league after a dodgy start.
