Jimmy Greaves was one of the few players to have crossed the Chelsea – Spurs divide and remained loved by both sets of fans.
While he had most of his success at Tottenham, it should never be forgotten that his start came in the academy at Chelsea.
Tragically his death on Sunday was on the same day as the game between the two rival teams, meaning tonight’s game was the first at Stamford Bridge since his passing.
The Bridge rose for a glorious appreciation in tribute along with both sets of players, and a memorable image on the screens.
You will be much missed, Jimmy.
