Serie A club ‘have asked’ about Chelsea striker with ‘talks ongoing’

Chelsea’s striker situation is finally starting to come to light a little bit more over the last few days.

The club look to be accelerating their attempts to sign a new striker themselves, with offers going in for Romelu Lukaku, and Erling Haaland not out of the question as it stands.

These moves could have a domino affect for current Chelsea strikers such as Tammy Abraham and Armando Broja.

The latter has been included in Thomas Tuchel’s pre-season plans, up until this week. He was left out of the squad that beat Arsenal 2-1 this week and questions were asked, as many thought he would be coming in to the squad this season as a backup striker option.

However, whether this has anything to do with Chelsea advancing for a new striker or not, Broja is now in talks to leave Chelsea on loan this season, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Udinese ‘have asked’ about a loan move for Broja, and talks are ongoing between the clubs for a 1-year loan deal.
