Yesterday absolutely exploded for Chelsea in terms of their striker pursuit.
Things happened quick, and by the end of the day, pretty much every top source of news in world football was reporting the same thing – Chelsea could soon be landing themselves a new big name striker in the shape of Romelu Lukaku.
Erling Haaland appears to have been given up on, and Chelsea are pushing very hard to now sign Lukaku instead.

Even Lukaku though, was always seemed as a tough deal to complete and although it is not a done deal yet, nor have Inter Milan accepted an offer for him yet, it does have a feel that it will get done.
However, if one person really knows what is going on in this, then it is reliable Belgian reporter, Kristof Terreur.
He replied to a comment this morning, giving his verdict, and again, it sounds promising for Lukaku to Chelsea…
Inter still need to sell one more player. No acceptable offers for Lautaro – the one they wanted to sell – have come in so… If Inter accept the offer, Lukaku will move…
