Chelsea’s attentions have seemingly firmly turned from Erling Haaland to Romelu Lukaku.
The Blues want to sign a new big name striker, that information is now more than apparent. Which striker that might be though, has always been a rollercoaster ride, but has largely always just been either Romelu Lukaku or Erling Haaland.
The latter was the priority for some time, but it looks like Lukaku is now much closer of the two.
This might be because Chelsea didn’t get a great response from Dortmund from their 130m euros offer last week.
According to Italian source Alfredo Pedulla from Sport Italia, Chelsea put that offer in last Thursday, but Dortmund told them they are not selling Haaland and would sooner lose him for his much lower release clause next summer.

Chelsea have now focused on Lukaku and appear to be closing in on a deal to sign him instead. Not a bad backup plan to be honest!
#Chelsea are now very close to #Lukaku, preparing a super new bid: €130m and €12m net per season as salary. @SkySport https://t.co/rYIGpeu23O

Hallan is too young compared to lukaku.
