Billy Gilmour is a serious rising star, I don’t think anyone in world football has any doubt about that.
But his loan move to Norwich City this season really does have a feel of being a move that will well and truly announce him into world football as a top class player.
Gilmour played for his new team yesterday in a pre-season friendly and absolutely bossed the game in a 5-0 win over Gillingham.

Of course, the opponents will soon get much tougher for Gilmour and Norwich, but the confidence and ability he showed on the ball once again yesterday, just backs up what a star in the making this young Scottish international is.
Gilmour spoke after the game as well and and touched on how there is no better feeling than playing and celebrating in front of fans in stadiums.
💬 "When we were scoring and the fans were celebrating, there is no better feeling. I am loving it!"
The feeling is mutual, @billygilmourrr!

His new supporters (for this season only), were very impressed with what they saw, with one describing him as ‘a different gravy.’ Others were also full of praise…

Billy Gilmour demanding every ball and telling his players where to go, not wasting a single pass, gets stuck in. Guy is next level #ncfc #cfc pic.twitter.com/uicHRr9qNJ
