West Ham are ready to use the wage space created by the departure of Felipe Anderson to Lazio to sign Declan Rice to a monster new contract and ward off interest from Chelsea.
That’s according to the Sun, who say that Brazilian winger Anderson was on more than £100,000 a week, creating a decent bit of headroom to give Rice a huge raise.
The 22 year old was a key player for England at the Euros, and only improved his reputation as one of the most coveted central midfielders in the country.
He still seems keen on a move to Chelsea though, so it’s not impossible that he turns down the Hammers to push for a move west. But if we don’t make our move soon, the piles of money on the table will surely start to talk.
Rice is on holiday now – but his agent’s work is just beginning it would seem.
Keep dreaming. Wont be going anywhere. What is it you dont understand about Not for sale ? Obviously told you hes keen on a move to Chelsea has he ? Funny that seems to be a saying that suits. Think manu columns also say that ! You couldnt make it up !!!!!!!!! New angle tomorrow. Why not ?
