West Ham, Arsenal, and Aston Villa on alert as Chelsea set to lower asking price for striker

Chelsea are on the hunt for a new striker this summer themselves, but you get the feeling they would like to be far along in selling one of their own strikers first.

As of yet, there have been ne developments other than just interest in Tammy Abraham, but it looks like Chelsea’s £40m valuation has been putting clubs off for now.

However, according to an exclusive report from Duncan Wright of The Sun, Chelsea are preparing to lower their asking price for the England international striker, and that will alert interested clubs, Arsenal, Aston Villa, and West Ham.

Chelsea are looking to spend a large amount of money bringing in a new striker themselves, so any fee they get in for Abraham will go towards that, but I am assuming no striker can arrive at Stamford Bridge until the space is made from selling Abraham.

We will soon see how this one pans out…
