Is it really a Chelsea preseason if we’re not watching clips of loanees making their debuts for their new teams?
To be fair this is a special one. Billy Gilmour got 45 minutes for Norwich against Kings Lynn and looked… exactly as good as you’d expect a player as good as him to look against that level of opposition.
He will have it a lot tougher in the Premier League – but is anyone backing against him looking just as good against the likes of Burnley and Newcastle? We certainly aren’t.
