Some breaking news out of the Italian press this morning might catch the eye of a few Chelsea fans.
We all know that the club have been working on potential deals to sign a new big name striker this summer, but most of our targets have looked very tough to get over the line.
Erling Haaland is still very much in the pipeline despite this seemingly the most difficult of all.
However, Chelsea could also turn to Romelu Lukaku from Inter, who will at least be a slightly cheaper option.
And according to Italian paper Corriere della Sera this morning, Chelsea have made a 130m euros offer (around £110m) for Lukaku, and they claim that Inter Milan are tempted to accept the offer.
They even say that Roman Abramovich sent his son to Milan to work on the deal!
They explain that an official offer has not been sent yet, but in the form of a proposal.
