Yes ladies and gentlemen, Jorginho’s great agent, Joao Santos has been speaking publicly about Jorginho once again.
In fact, I’m pretty sure he gets up in the morning and the first thing he does is phones a paper to give his daily Jorginho update.
It looks pretty clear in my opinion that Jorginho will be staying at Chelsea this summer, and there is even talk of a new contract.
But even so, his agent does like to put a spanner in the works and cast doubts over his future all the time, potentially leaving the door open for any interested clubs to come in.
He does admit that at this moment in time, Jorginho is staying at Chelsea for this season at least, but that door is still left firmly ajar for him to leave, and more importantly his agent to collect another payday!
As reported by Sport Witness, here are his latest ramblings..
“I confirm it, these interests have arrived. Of course, at 29 he can do very well in all the top European clubs and many are interested in him.
“He has a two-year contract and everything is in the club’s hands. There’s the Clubs World Cup, there’s the European Super Cup. For a footballer these are important goals. But, the transfer market is always the transfer market and if a major club comes forward seriously with Chelsea then we will evaluate. At the moment, Jorginho will play it at Chelsea next season.”
