It was commiserations for Chelsea centre back Thiago Silva last night as he was looking to add his second major medal of the season to his impressive cabinet.
As reported here by The Guardian, Silva could not do anything to stop his side losing 1-0 to Argentina after a 22nd minute winner from Angel Di Maria.
After winning the Champions League with Chelsea this season, it would have been the icing on the cake for him to win a major international tournament with his country.
However, it wasn’t to be, but he always has the World Cup next summer!
