Chelsea star nets second half hattrick as Blues win friendly 6-1

Chelsea have just played their first friendly of the season, and the Blues are off to a winning start in Thomas Tuchel’s first full campaign at the helm.

They beat Peterborough 6-1 in a warmup game behind closed doors at Cobham – although clearly CarefreeYouth was watching, as he noted the scores and the players who scored each one.

Tammy Abraham made a point by getting one in front of the boss who doesn’t seem to rate him, while Christian Pulisic also made an impression.

Nobody did better than Hakim Ziyech however, as he netted a second half hattrick one the teams were switched up at the break. Armando Broja added the icing on the cake.

The next friendly will be against an Irish team once the Blues make the trip to Dublin next week, and will likely also be played without being broadcast – however another swathe of players will be available for Thomas Tuchel to choose from.
