Just when we were starting to get bored of writing Erling Haaland news, something big and new drops out of nowhere.
Chelsea are going to have to shift a lot of players this summer, especially after a net gain of numbers this time a year ago, when buyers were few and far between.
That means selling some truly great talents, and first on that list looks to be Marc Guehi.
After a brilliant season on loan in the Championship with Swansea, the central defender is set to sign for Crystal Palace on a permanent deal – according to David Ornstein of The Athletic.

That won’t please a lot of Blues fans, who have already seen Fikayo Tomori depart this summer, but there are some promising clauses.
According to Ornstein’s report, Chelsea not only have a clause that means they will profit from a sell-on fee, they also have the “first option” on any transfer in the future, ensuring they keep a say in Guehi’s future long term.
