The new Premier League season is right around the corner believe it or not, although we still have some weeks to wait for the first game.
However, we do have pre-season to look forward to, and that is LITERALLY right around the corner.
Next week in fact, with Chelsea due to start training this Monday the 5th of July, as per Football London today.
None of the Chelsea players that featured in the Euros this summer (and still are) are expected to return to Cobham just yet, but there will be a chance for a number of returning loan players and youth players to show Thomas Tuchel what they can do and stake a claim for a spot in the squad this season.
As per the report from FL, they understand homegrown stars including Conor Gallagher, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Trevoh Chalobah, Dujon Sterling, Xavier Mbuyamba, Marc Guehi and Armando Broja are expected to be given opportunities to impress the German coach.
There could be chances for various youth players as well such as Tino Livramento, Tino Anjorin, Lewis Bate, and Henry Lawrence.
