Chelsea reject interest in striker, want to use him to land Erling Haaland

Another day, another Erling Haaland to Chelsea story, but this time from the English press.

We have been hearing plenty of positive reports on this from a number of German media outlets over the last few days, but the English media have remained rather tight-lipped.

But today, an exclusive report from Darren Lewis of The Daily Mirror suggests Chelsea have a plan and a trick up their sleeves to pull the deal off.

They are determined to sign Haaland this summer and are prepared to pay a massive fee, but the Mirror claim they want to add Tammy Abraham into the deal to bring that fee down and give Dortmund a replacement.

They have rejected enquiries for Abraham from clubs such as West Ham and Aston Villa, says the report, in order to offer him to Dortmund.

One problem with that though, is that Abraham is most interested in a move to The Hammers.
