Chelsea consider offer for prime target, valuation thought to be £80m

Chelsea fans are patiently (or not so much) awaiting the club to make their first moves of the transfer window as time ticks on this summer.

There are two names at the top of the list, but no offers have been reported as of yet. Of course, this doesn’t definitely mean there are no offers from Chelsea as of yet, it could just mean they have done very well to keep their business behind closed doors.

However, we do have a report suggesting that they are about to make an offer for one of their prime targets this window, Declan Rice. The other is Erling Haaland obviously, there is no way you can miss the noise on him right now!

Anyhow, it is Dean Jones from Eurosport who is reporting Chelsea are considering making an offer for Rice.

He says West Ham value Rice at £80m, which makes you believe that Chelsea will think they can do a deal here.

Especially when you take into account their firm interest in Tammy Abraham
