The Erling Haaland to Chelsea saga has that feel about it that it could actually be done this summer, a lot like the Kai Havertz move last summer.
Chelsea had a drawn out attempt to sign Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen last summer, and we all know how that one ended up. Now their pursuit of Haaland this summer is being compared to the Havertz saga by BILD reporter, Christian Falk.
He was speaking via a Twitch stream alongside transfer expert Fabrizio Romano last night, and he bought some positive Haaland to Chelsea news to the table.
Falk believes that Chelsea are taking advantage of the Covid situation again, just as they did to get Havertz last summer.
He says they have a ‘big chance’ to land Haaland this summer, and they just need to ‘break the bank’ to get him.
