It appears that Chelsea are attempting to sell and get £40 million for the sale of Tammy Abraham this summer before they put their official offers in to sign a new striker themselves.
According to The Telegraph, Chelsea have offered out Abraham to a number of a clubs, including to clubs they have interest in their own strikers – Tottenham for Harry Kane, Dortmund for Erling Haaland, and Inter Milan for Romelu Lukaku.
The report states that West Ham and Aston Villa are also very keen, but are not thought to be able to afford the fee to sign him.
Arsenal though, are seriously interest, and things could be helped by the fact that Abraham wants to stay in London and is a childhood Arsenal fan, as portrayed in the report.
Chelsea need to sell Abraham before landing their own striker themselves, it would seem.
Things need to happen fast as the time ticks on in the window…
