N’Golo Kante has had a brilliant couple of months with Chelsea, starring in the latter stages of the Champions League and eventually lifting the trophy.
That’s lead to tons of talk about individual awards, but when it was put to him on France duty that he could be in line for a Ballon d’Or, he didn’t seem so sure.
“I don’t care” he said, insisting his focus was on the team, and right now, on the Euros.
With any other player we would think it was just modesty. With Kante… we might just believe he really doesn’t care.
