The Achraf Hakimi saga continues, and we have our very latest update come through over night on this situation.
In a nutshell, it very much appears to be a case of as you were in this story, with the latest suggestions being PSG are still in the lead for his signature, but Chelsea are far from out of the race yet.
This race has gone from Chelsea being close and in the lead last week, to PSG catching up with them, re-entering the fray, and now taking the lead this week.
Who will win this one? Well, as my colleague Dan McCarthy wrote for us on Si & Dan Talk Chelsea yesterday, Inter will be the winners here!
It is transfer expert Fabrizio Romano providing the update again, and he says that PSG are ‘getting closer’ to landing Hakimi from Inter Milan in a deal that will be worth 80 million euros, but Chelsea are ‘still in contact’ with his agent.
