Napoli have made an opening offer of £15m for Emerson Palmieri, according to CalcioMercato.
It seems likely the left back will leave this summer. given how little he’s played over the course of several season at Chelsea now, and frankly if it’s true they’ve offered €15m we’d take it right now.
Luciano Spalletti has taken over in Naples this summer, and is looking to reshape a squad that has looked a little baggy since the Maurizio Sarri left to join Chelsea.

It’s not clear how much money they will have to spend, but they have plenty of expensive assets they might be forced to sell, opening the door to spend decent money signing players too.
Let’s not forget that, while not impressing hugely at Stamford Bridge, Emerson is an Italy international and may play a major role at the Euros this summer. That would make €15m a pretty reasonable fee.
