Mexico star linked with Chelsea move in search of a millionaire project

Transfer season has truly begun, especially in this little window between the end of club football and the start of the Euros.

Chelsea are being linked with all kinds of deals, both buying and selling, and as always Portuguese clubs are getting in the mix.

The Atlantic nation is always punching above its weight, and it regularly sells players for big money to top leagues.

The next off the production line could be Jesus Corona, who was a key part of Porto’s progress in the Champions League this season. Correio da Manha say that he wants to move to a club with a “millionaire project”, and that his club will let him go because his contract expires in a year.

Chelsea are listed with Sevilla, Everton and Wolves as interested teams.

While his departure from the Liga NOS seems likely, we will need more evidence before we believe Chelsea is his next destination.
