Chelsea might be largely quiet on the transfer front right now as all focus remains on the Euros, but that certainly doesn’t mean that plans are not being discussed and actioned behind the scenes right now.
The club want to sign a wide right player, hence the Achraf Hakimi situation they are/were involved with.
But as he now looks set to join PSG, do Chelsea have any other options for that area?
Yes, according to the reliable Matt Law, who has been providing his very latest updates via The London is Blue Podcast today.
He says there is a ‘definite interest’ from Chelsea in signing Spanish international Adama Traore from Wolves this summer, and Tuchel really wants to add a new wide right player to his squad.
He goes on to say that Traore would be a squad player coming in and they should be able to land him for around ‘£20-£25m’ this summer.
