Chelsea have one of the best youth academies in world football, so it is never a surprise to see a top talent come up through the ranks.
The latest is 18-year old centre back, Levi Colwill.

According to a number of reports, including this from Goal, he is set to sign a new 4-year contract extension with Chelsea before heading out on a loan deal to a Championship club.
As per the same report, Colwill was convinced to sign the new deal after being offered a clear pathway into Chelsea’s first-team after some further development out on loan.
Colwill is highly rated amongst the ranks at Chelsea and he is one of those players that really makes you stand back and think that he is one of the few that genuinely has a chance of nailing down a regular spot in the Chelsea senior team.
