Chelsea pair set for England starts in game against Auld Enemy

Chelsea fans were rather disappointed to see just one of their players in the England team against Croatia in the opening group game of Euro 2020.

Mason Mount made the cut, but Ben Chilwell and Reece James missed out. According to the Daily Mail, that’s about to change.

They say that Gareth Southgate is going to switch out both his full-backs, with Kieran Trippier and Kyle Walker not having their best game against Luke Modric and co.

It’s part of the luxury of having such a deep squad that you can drop two starters and bring in two equally world class players.

If they perform against the Scots, they could end up keeping their places in the final game against the Czech Republic, and potentially into the knockout stages.

We could end up with a really strong Blue streak in the side towards the end of the tournament, and wouldn’t that just be brilliant?
